On Friday afternoon Grade 1M had the privilege of spending time with our ELIM Grandbuddies and doing a Remembrance Day craft together. We also had the honour of listening to Mr. George Gunn - one of our Grandbuddies - talk about his experiences as a WWII veteran. He even brought the official uniform that he wore as a Canadian soldier and all of the medals that he received - just for us! Even without the treat that we got it was an amazing afternoon!

What a wonderful experience for the class ... I so appreciate that they get to hang with their Grandbuddies and learn more about those who have gone before. Lest we forget. Thank you so much for sharing.
